This is an easy recipe to throw together into
your bread machine for a great-tasting foundation to your homemade
pizza.
9-11 oz. water (1 cup plus
6 Tbsp. for 11 oz.)
3/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. oil
4 cups bread flour
2 tsp. yeast
1 tsp. minced garlic (or 1 tsp. of garlic powder)
1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
All ingredients should be room temperature. Put in bread machine
in order listed. Set machine on dough cycle. When finished,
take out and divide in half. Roll on a countertop sprinkled
with cornmeal.
Place on a baking stone or pizza pan and pre bake at 400°F
about 10 minutes before topping with desired toppings.
Makes enough
crust for 2 pizzas.
